How to know it is really us.
Scammers call members pretending to be their credit union. Here is the line we never cross.
We never ask for your password
Not on the phone, not by text, not by email. Nobody here needs it, ever.
We never ask for a one-time code
If someone asks you to read back a code we texted you, hang up. That is the scam.
We never rush you
Urgency is the tell. A real call from us can always wait while you hang up and call back.
Call back on the number you know
Hang up and dial (801) 328-1521 yourself. Caller ID can be faked. That number cannot.
Do not send anything sensitive by email
Account numbers, card numbers, and Social Security numbers do not belong in an email. Call us at (801) 328-1521 or bring it to the office instead.
Think you gave something away?
Call 1-855-961-1602 right away, any hour, to have transactions blocked. Then call us at (801) 328-1521 during business hours so we can order you a new card with a new number.

Getting a hold of us.
When can I reach a person?
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. Call (801) 328-1521 or toll free 866-358-8548. Messages that come in over the weekend are answered when we open Monday.

Can I open an account without coming in?
Not entirely. There is no online membership application. You complete a paper Membership Application at our office, or call (801) 328-1521 and we will mail you one. Joining takes a $25.00 share deposit. Once you are a member, Mobicint online and mobile banking handles the day to day.
What do I do if my card is lost after hours?
Freeze the card yourself in Card Suite Lite, then call 1-855-961-1602 to have transactions blocked. Call us at (801) 328-1521 during business hours so we can order you a new card with a new number.
Can I use another credit union’s branch?
Yes. Ridgeline is part of the CO-OP Shared Branch network, so a teller at a participating credit union can take a deposit, cash a check, or take a loan payment on your account. Bring photo ID and know your account number. We also provide shared branch services here for members of other network credit unions.
How do I file a complaint?
Tell us first. Call (801) 328-1521 and ask for Doug Huntsman, or write to Ridgeline Credit Union, 564 East 300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the National Credit Union Administration’s Consumer Assistance Center.
